WOMENS' MARCH AND FUNERAL PROCESSION, 9AM, DUPONT CIRCLE, WASHINGTON DC,
JANUARY 20, 2005

The Womens' March and Funeral rally to mourn the inauguration of Bush will
begin at 9AM at Dupont Circle, Washington DC on January 20. Speakers and/or
performers of the rally include: Kim Gandy of NOW, AiMara Lin, National
Director of NION(Not in Our Name), Ladies of Liberty, Andrea Buffa of United
for Peace and Justice, Jodie Evans, Co-Founder of Code Pink, Alice Slater of
Global Resource Action Center for the Environment, Njoki Njoroge Njehu of 50
Years is Enough, Andrea Liu, founder of National Mourning Day Project, and
Billionaires for Bush. The rally will be complete with information tables
and entertainment. The rally concludes at 11AM and then becomes the New
orleans Funeral March down Massachusetts Avenue into McPherson Square, where
it will be joined by the larger DAWN ( DC Anti-War Network) March.

On January 22 and 23, over 45 artists, producers, curators, and activists, will come together to share skills and strategies for raising social and political consciousness through the arts. AND SO FORTH is two days packed with panel and roundtable discussions, hands-on workshops, film screenings, performances, a gallery exhibition of political art, and much more.

ASF is open to the public, and costs $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
